NASW Kentucky is rebuilding its Legislative Committee and is seeking members who are interested in social work policy, advocacy, and legislative engagement.
The Legislative Committee helps monitor state and federal legislation that impacts social workers, clients, and communities across Kentucky. Committee members support advocacy efforts, help shape policy priorities, and assist with mobilizing social workers to take action on key issues affecting the profession and those we serve.
This committee is a great fit for social workers who are interested in public policy, systems change, and using their professional voice to influence laws and regulations.
If you are interested in legislative advocacy and social work policy, please email dsmith.naswky@socialworkers.org to learn more about getting involved.
